1. Introduction:- Student life is the golden period of life. A student is gen early free from the woes and worries of the world. Parents keep him away from the burden and responsibilities of home, so that he may pay full attention to his studies.
2. The Flowering Period: A student is a young person. He is pulsating with energy and enthusiasm. He has the glow of romance in him. There is the vision of his dreams coming true. Life unfolds its beauty and charm before him. It holds out prospects for bright future. Students take great interest in games and sports. They are also fond of movies.
3. A Period of Preparation: Student life is, in fact a period of preparation. A student has to learn and prepare himself to meet the challenges of life. He has to lead a disciplined life. He has to harness his energy in the right direction. He has to be truthful and pure by heart. He has to keep off bad company and shun politics. He has to develop his talent and broaden his outlook. He has to develop the sense of social responsibility, will power and the capacity for hard work in him. He has to prove himself worthy of the confidence the nation reposes in him.
4. At School or College: At school the student should learn to think for Himself. No one has ever been great by following others blindly. When the teacher says something in the class, the student should try to understand it for himself. He should think about it in his own way. If he does not agree with the teacher, he should boldly say so to him. A good teacher will not be angry at it. He will rather be glad to find such an intelligent student in his class. When a student reads a book, he is not expected to learn by heart what is written in the book. He must think, understand and then commit to the memory only that which is beneficial to him.
5. Social and Cultural Activities: The student has a duty towards society as well. The student of today is the citizen of tomorrow. He should take part in social and cultural activities. He should go to villages to serve the villagers and mix up with them. He should take part in N.C.C. and scouting. He must aim at his development. He should help the old, the blind and the handicapped.
6. Character building: Students must pay full attention to the building of their character. Gandhiji and all other great men did so, when they were at school. A student should be honest, true sincere and virtuous. His behavior towards all must be praiseworthy. He should be kind and humble. These qualities enable him to meet out the varied challenges of life when he comes out of his school. The nation looks at him with great expectations and aspirations. He should prove himself worthy of the same.

Student life the most memorable phase of every person’s life. It is the phase in which the whole foundation of a person’s life is laid upon.
1. परिचय – विद्यार्थी जीवन जीवन का स्वर्णिम काल होता है। एक छात्र दुनिया के संकटों और चिंताओं से जल्दी मुक्त हो जाता है। माता-पिता उसे घर के बोझ और जिम्मेदारियों से दूर रखते हैं, ताकि वह अपनी पढ़ाई पर पूरा ध्यान दे सके।
2. पुष्पन कालः विद्यार्थी युवा होता है। वह ऊर्जा और जोश से धड़क रहा है। उनमें रोमांस की चमक है। उनके सपनों के साकार होने का सपना देखा जा रहा है। जीवन उसके सामने अपनी सुंदरता और आकर्षण प्रकट करता है। यह उज्जवल भविष्य की संभावनाएं रखता है। छात्र खेल और खेल में बहुत रुचि लेते हैं। उन्हें फिल्मों का भी शौक है।
3. तैयारी की अवधि: विद्यार्थी जीवन वास्तव में तैयारी का काल है। एक छात्र को जीवन की चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए खुद को सीखना और तैयार करना होता है। उसे अनुशासित जीवन जीना होता है। उसे अपनी ऊर्जा को सही दिशा में लगाना होगा। उसे दिल से सच्चा और शुद्ध होना चाहिए। उसे बुरी संगत से दूर रहना होगा और राजनीति से दूर रहना होगा। उसे अपनी प्रतिभा को विकसित करना होगा और अपने दृष्टिकोण को व्यापक बनाना होगा। उसे अपने अंदर सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी, इच्छा शक्ति और कड़ी मेहनत की क्षमता की भावना विकसित करनी होगी। उसे खुद को उस भरोसे के लायक साबित करना होगा, जिस पर देश भरोसा करता है।
4. स्कूल या कॉलेज में: स्कूल में छात्र को अपने लिए सोचना सीखना चाहिए। दूसरों का आंख मूंदकर अनुसरण करने से कोई कभी महान नहीं होता। जब शिक्षक कक्षा में कुछ कहता है, तो छात्र को उसे अपने लिए समझने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। उसे इस बारे में अपने तरीके से सोचना चाहिए। यदि वह शिक्षक से सहमत नहीं है, तो उसे साहसपूर्वक उससे ऐसा कहना चाहिए। एक अच्छा शिक्षक इससे नाराज नहीं होगा। उसे अपनी कक्षा में ऐसा बुद्धिमान छात्र पाकर खुशी होगी। जब कोई छात्र किसी पुस्तक को पढ़ता है, तो उससे यह अपेक्षा नहीं की जाती है कि वह पुस्तक में लिखी गई बातों को दिल से सीख ले। उसे सोचना चाहिए, समझना चाहिए और फिर केवल वही याद रखना चाहिए जो उसके लिए फायदेमंद हो।
5. सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियाँ: छात्र का समाज के प्रति कर्तव्य है भी। आज का छात्र कल का नागरिक है। उसे सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों में भाग लेना चाहिए। उन्हें गाँवों में जाकर गाँववालों की सेवा करनी चाहिए और उनसे घुलना-मिलना चाहिए। उन्हें एन.सी.सी. में भाग लेना चाहिए। और स्काउटिंग। उसे अपने विकास का लक्ष्य रखना चाहिए। उसे वृद्धों, नेत्रहीनों और विकलांगों की मदद करनी चाहिए।
6. चरित्र निर्माण: छात्रों को अपने चरित्र निर्माण पर पूरा ध्यान देना चाहिए। गांधीजी और अन्य सभी महापुरुषों ने ऐसा तब किया जब वे स्कूल में थे। विद्यार्थी को ईमानदार, सच्चा ईमानदार और सदाचारी होना चाहिए। सभी के प्रति उनका व्यवहार प्रशंसनीय होना चाहिए। वह दयालु और विनम्र होना चाहिए। ये गुण उसे स्कूल से बाहर आने पर जीवन की विभिन्न चुनौतियों का सामना करने में सक्षम बनाते हैं। राष्ट्र उन्हें बड़ी उम्मीदों और आकांक्षाओं की नजर से देखता है। उसे खुद को इसके लायक साबित करना चाहिए।
